Why Should You and How Do You Prepare A Provisional Patent Application AND Continued Development of an Invention Initiative Join Zoom Meeting at 6 pm Monday, February 22, 2021 https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89472273714?pwd=S2hFUVBBa1VMc0dNVTRBWTJoYlFKZz09
The first part of our next virtual monthly meeting will be dedicated to addressing the reasons why you should consider preparing a Provisional Patent Application as the first step in protecting your Invention. Then we will demonstrate just how you go about preparing and submitting a Provisional Patent Application. We will provide examples of Provisional Patent Applications that you can modify for your own purposes and will provide links to youtube videos that show the application process. Following this initial session, we will begin to identify invention topics that may be developed into marketable ideas. So bring your list of wants or needs that we will use as starting points for further investigation. And we will continue to outline the organization of this participant-owned venture. This initiative is intended to be a Participant Owned Organization with ownership-based primarily on in-kind labor contribution and outside monetary contribution. Only those willing to be actively involved will be able to participate in one or more sponsored development efforts. So don’t miss this chance to become engaged in active inventive efforts. Please RSVP here to let us know how if you plan to attend our next meeting. Remember anyone can attend 1 meeting before joining our organization at a yearly membership cost of $25. Services available to members include exhibiting an invention during our meeting and receiving group feedback and obtaining counseling starting at 5:30 pm prior to our meeting, or at other prearranged times. To schedule an exhibition or specific allotment of counseling time please contact Gary Stecklein at 316-667-2497.
